PT Adicipta Bangun Mandiri (ABM) now handles seafarer documents for the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI). As an approved filing agent for the RMI Maritime Administrator, our team in Jakarta reviews, witnesses and files applications for officers and ratings joining RMI-flagged vessels.
Documents we process
- Officer endorsements (CoE) for masters, deck and engineer officers, ETOs and GMDSS radio operators who hold an acceptable national Certificate of Competency.
- Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB), required for nearly everyone serving aboard an RMI-flagged vessel and valid for five years.
- Special Qualification Certificates (SQC) for ratings and special capacities, based on approved STCW training.
- Renewals, rank upgrades and replacement of lost or damaged documents.
For manning agencies, ship managers and seafarers
The service is open to Indonesian and overseas manning agencies, ship owners and managers, and individual seafarers. Agencies can send us the crew list and joining dates; we coordinate directly with the seafarers in Indonesia and report progress until the documents are issued.
How it works
Every application is checked against RMI requirements before filing. The seafarer signs the application in person at our office in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, as the Administrator requires. We then submit it to the RMI Maritime Administrator and follow it through to issue. Issued documents can be verified online through the Administrator’s Seafarer Verification service.
The documents to prepare and an enquiry form are on our Marshall Islands services page, also available in Bahasa Indonesia. For urgent crew changes, contact us on WhatsApp at +62 815-1710-5777 or by email at [email protected].
